The precision needs to be checked during the trial operation of CNC gantry milling machine

CNC gantry milling machines are suitable for various types of machinery, capable of boring and drilling, as well as improving according to user needs, and performing various processing and manufacturing together. Milling and boring heads are used to mill horizontal, straight, or inclined surfaces of large and medium-sized ferrous or non-ferrous metal parts. CNC gantry milling machines have the characteristics of high stiffness, high efficiency, convenient operation, simple structure, and summarized functions.

The accuracy of CNC gantry milling machines refers to the original accuracy of machine tools without external loads, which is usually indicated by its opposite value, deviating from the ideal condition. The smaller the error, the higher the accuracy; On the contrary, the larger the error, the lower the accuracy.

The testing operation of CNC gantry milling machines also requires checking the accuracy. The specific methods are as follows:
1. Start the CNC gantry milling machine to move the workbench, check if its movement direction is consistent with the rotation direction of the electric motor, and investigate the smoothness of the workbench guide rail. If the smoothness is not good, please add a smoothing agent in a timely manner.
2. Test the lifting movement of the crossbeam: before starting. Adjust the gaps on the surface of each sliding guide. Then loosen the screws to test for increased movement.
3. Test feed motion: Before the test. Adjust the gap between the sliding guide surfaces of the tool holder and check the sealing of each sliding surface by manually shaking the tool holder; Then inject oil into each sliding surface to begin the operation test, before the test. Adjust the gear or handle connected to the oil supply to the neutral position; Then investigate whether the feeding organization operates normally, check whether there are obstacles, and adjust each tool rest. Perform an electric feed test in a horizontal slow straight feed condition.
4. After the trial operation is completed. Check the accuracy and make adjustments item by item based on the qualification certificate, and if necessary, improve the “T” groove of the workbench.
